Reformed criminal Lee Temple has returned to his East London roots with an idea to open a Laundrette.
Lee needs a brand identity to attract the new young residents of the East End, from hipsters with faux fur that needs dry cleaning, to city types with suits that need to be cleaned.
He is keen to market towards forward thinking trendy influencer types who love the edgy flavour that East End living brings.
How about an ex criminal opening up a laundrette that pretended to be a money laundering business?
I wanted to create a visual identity that was daring and had a sense of non-conformity.
I experimented with spray paint and created textures by thickining acrylic paints. The colours I used were vibrant and eyecatching to match the vibrancy that is the East End.
